For those of you that are interested in the technical side of our photography this page is for you.

A blurb about our photography equipment:

Of course it's difficult to say which camera system is our absolute favorite as it all depends on the subject were photographing. However, for the most part we still favor medium format positive film. For this we rely on the Mamiya RZ67 camera model. A rugged "workhorse" of a camera, and still a relatively modest size for carrying into the field. Shooting is somewhat conservative with only 10 frames to a roll of 120 film, however this still allows for a number of bracketed exposures. More than would be possible with a large format 4x5 field camera for instance.

Over the years we have utilized many cameras from 35mm to large format. We try not to get overwhelmed with the endless technical aspects of photographic equipment. We find what works for us and we stick with it, favoring consistency above all else.

We must never lose sight of the fact that the most important factors in creating a beautiful image are subject, lighting and composition. It is the perfection of these three elements that means the most to us.
